The 100 Mile Challenge is Back!

On October 11, 2009, God blessed Dribble the World to accomplish a very impressive feat: The 100 Mile Challenge. 20 dribblers, dozens of running partners, 5 miles each, for a 100 mile relay spanning Bergen and Hudson Counties in NJ and all 5 boroughs of NYC! What a beautiful picture of the Church of Jesus Christ coming together to do big things for His glory.

Check out just a few of the amazing memories in this slideshow by our own wonderful Whitney Rodgers!

I can hardly believe it has been a year already, but on October 10th we will be attempting our second annual 100 Mile Challenge! Last year, God blessed us to raised $1500 for organizations that are laboring to help the millions of displaced people who survived the 2004 genocide in the Darfur region of Sudan.

This year’s 100 Mile Challenge has the same mission as Eric and Miceal’s 2010 NYC Marathon runto defeat malaria, the #1 killer of children in the world. Although we eradicated malaria from the U.S. in 1951, the disease still kills 3,000 kids daily. We believe this injustice breaks the heart of God and feel moved by His love to do something about it (like dribble 100 Miles!).

So are you ready to help us end this preventable, treatable disease?

Here’s your chance to help us donate to Malaria No More, an organization committed to ending malaria deaths in Africa by 2015.  As clocks in their offices count down to December 31, 2015, we believe we can join them and many others around the globe in making this goal a reality. We know nothing is too difficult for our God!

Join the others who have already helped us reach our goal of donating $6000 to this visionary organization. Thank you to all of you who have given!
