Follow The 100 Mile Challenge

If you are in the NYC area, DribbletheWorld.com invites you to follow us on our first ever 100 Mile Challenge! Listed below is the schedule for the entire day with transportation options for stops.

If you can’t be there with us, follow us on Twitter! Each time the ball reaches a 5 Mile mark a twitter update will go out. Make sure you’re set up to follow BallforLives.

100 MILE CHALLENGE RUN TIMES AND FAN INFO

MILES 1-5

6:00 to 6:45 am—Justin Cook / Frank Barquin

Starting: 60th St. Blvd. East, WNY

Ending: Lincoln Harbor (Harbor Blvd), Weehawken

Transportation

Fans: Port Imperial Light Rail Station

Fans: NYC Subway A, C to World Trade Center (expect delays)

End: NYC Subway F, J, M, Z to Essex St./Delancey St. (delays on F-stop is 4 blocks from finish )

Starting: Corner of Grand St. and Allen St.

Ending: East 6th Ave and East River Drive/FDR Drive

 

Transportation

Fans: NYC Subway F, J, M, Z to Essex St./Delancey St. (delays on F-Walk 3 blocks towards Williamsburg Bridge to Clinton)

End: Closest Subway stop is Essex/Delancey-walk uptown to East 6th Street and turn right to go to East River Bike Way 

 

MILES 50-55

2:15-3:00 pm—Robert Martinez, John Revans

Starting: East 6th Ave, East River Bike Path

Ending: 27th St. and Queens Plaza

 

Transportation

Fans: NYC Subway to 4, 5, 6, N, R, W to Lexington Ave 59th St. (walk east to 1st Ave bike path entrance to Queensboro Bridge)

End: NYC Subway to 7, N, W to Queensboro Plaza (delays on 7)

7:15-8:00 pm—Ashley Ten Kate / Arely Calpeno
Starting: Palisade Ave and Rt. 5, Fort Lee

Ending: 60th St. River Road, West New York, NJ

 

Transportation

Fans: Drive to Target, AMC Movie Theatre, or City Place and go to Hudson River Walkway

End: Walk down 60th St. from Blvd. East to River Road and turn left to entrance of Hudson River Walkway 

 

MILES 90-95

8:00-8:45 pm–George Schlitzer / Frat Brothers
Starting: 60th St. River Road, West New York, NJ

Ending: Hamilton Park; Hudson Place and Blvd. East, Weehawken

 

Fans: Drive to Starbucks / A&P Plaza on River Road in West New York and go to Hudson River Walkway. They will also run past 60th St. and Blvd. East.

 

MILES 95-100

8:45-9:30 pm–Jorge Ventura/ Mercy, Eddy

Starting: Hamilton Park; Hudson Place and Blvd. East, Weehawken

Ending: 60th St. Blvd. East, WNY

 

Fans: Meet us at 60th St. and Blvd. East to cheer them on as they run past and then welcome them back as they finish the 100 Mile Challenge!

    lol, I wish i understood NYC geography so i could better understand where you guys were all day. But it was so exciting all day thinking about you guys running and pushing on, and getting phone and facebook updates. Congrats everyone! I am so proud of you all, and glad that you guys are friends with me :) I’m looking forward to the next event!
